Bride volunteers to join battle against coronavirus: Photos

Since the coronavirus outbreak began in Iran, many volunteers have joined the battle against the COVID-19.

Since the coronavirus outbreak began in Iran, many volunteers have joined health workers to fight the COVID-19 respiratory disease, including a newlywed bride.

The 25-year-old Zeinab Souri, who studied psychology in a university in Kermanshah Province, is one of those volunteers who have rushed to help people during the pandemic.

Souri began her volunteering activities after a devastating earthquake hit the town of Sarpol-e Zahab in Kermanshah in 2017.

Since then, her charitable behavior has become habitual.

From the very beginning, Zeinab told her now husband that she wants to keep up the jihadism activities even after marriage.

Jihad is an Arabic word, which means struggling and working hard to achieve a praiseworthy goal. Muslims pursue and respect Jihad but not as Takfiri militant groups interpret it.

When the coronvirus outbreak began, Zeinab could not stand idle and has been serving patients in hospitals for more than ten months now.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Zeinab recently held a small wedding.

Here are some photos showing Zeinab giving assistance to patients in one of the hospitals in Tehran.

The photos below also show Zeinab preparing her house before the wedding, and a part of her daily life after she tied the knot.

Zeinab is known among her friends as jihadist bride.
